Fruit Bombs & Fermentation Tour

September keeps producing great coffee events with Counter Culture’s Fruit Bombs & Fermentation Tour hitting Washington DC.  Here is a little more info, straight from CCC

Our new Work in Progress series kicks off tonight at our Boston Training Center with the inaugural tour, titled “Fruit Bombs & Fermentation,” which continues through the week with stops in Philadelphia, Washington, DC, and Durham. The twice-yearly Work in Progress series will be a showcase for ongoing projects and collaborations by our incredible staff – with diverse talents and interests – and our peers in the coffee industry. We’re excited to take this show on the road to our training centers – and, of course, you’re invited to join us.
“Fruit Bombs & Fermentation” focuses on Coffee Buyer Tim Hill‘s experimentation with coffee processing in Ethiopia and New York Coffee Trainer and 2012 United States Barista Champion Katie Carguilo‘s fermentation-inspired, USBC-winning presentation from 2012. Attendees will be able to taste exotic and experimental Ethiopian coffees along with Katie’s awarding-winning signature beverage.
A “Fruit Bombs & Fermentation” custom-edition La Marzocco GS/3 – contributed by tour co-sponsors La Marzocco – will be raffled off at the end of the tour, with tickets available at each stop along the way and proceeds going to a sustainable project in one of the coffee farms featured in the tour. And, Zachary Carlsen from the online coffee tabloid Sprudge will travel with the tour.
You can win a GS3?  Ok, you twisted my arm.  See you there!!
