July TNT: Throwdown at The Wydown

We’re gearing up for a throwdown at DC’s latest addition to the specialty coffee scene, The Wydown Coffee Bar. The Wydown is operating a spacious pop-up cafe right off the U Street Metro between 13-14th streets. While the Brothers McCracken – Alex and Chad – await the shop’s permanent home around the corner, we’re moving in for a summertime throwdown! Be there Thursday, July 11.

Per usual, it’s a $5 buy in. Sign up starts at 8:30 p.m., and pouring begins promptly at 9 p.m. This event is BYOB.

We are hugely appreciative of our July TNT sponsors! Kaldi’s Coffee, which is brewed and sold at The Wydown, is the espresso supplier, &Pizza is coming through with a massively generous pie contribution, our friends at Trickling Springs Creamery are providing milk, and 9:30 Club will supply complimentary tickets for the winner. We’re also grateful to Crystal Press (find ’em at 1775 K St, NW) for continuing to print our TNT flyers, which are circulating among area shops right now.
